HEY! I'M PHILLY

I have been a Movement Professional for over 12 years which has given me a wealth of experience. It is so pleasing to see how interests have moved away from ‘wanting to lose weight’ to ‘wanting to feel good and move freely injury free’.

Due to having 3 pregnancies with the associated core and pelvic floor issues such as diastasis recti and prolapse, I have a genuine interest in this field and feel really proud of helping new mums strengthen and feel confident in their bodies again.

Through my Restore Your Core training, I also have a passion for helping people recover from injuries through movement and ensuring that we can move freely and pain free as we age.

As a movement specialist in Women's Health, I have years of experience working with women of all ages. Each private session is followed up by a video detailing the exercises we have covered. Plus, access to Philly's online library of movement videos.

I have been doing PT with Philly for about 18 months. When I started I wanted to improve my strength and flexibility, but I also had shoulder a impingement which was restricting my movement. My strength and flexibility have improved no end, and my shoulder no longer gives me any trouble at all. I have also recently decided to get back into going to the gym, and she has helped me with a circuit that also aligns to my needs and therefore compliments my classes. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions with Philly, even though she pushes me, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their overall strength and fitness.

Philly has been my PT from 4 months post-partum to return to work at 12 months. Weekly and fortnightly sessions have mentored me from very achey, inflexible, and frankly unfit, to a point where I have regained my confidence. All elements of our work together have centred on improving my core strength and flexibility. The results are evident in my day to day life - I feel much more flexible, my posture is improving and I can sit crossed legged or on my knees on the floor to play with my daughter without any pain, I can lift her more easily and the tightness around my hip flexors and glutes has gone. I find myself copying the little stretches and tweaks we do during our classes during the day. I highly recommend working with Philly, it has been incredibly helpful for my journey to have her by my side.

Classes are hard work but fun and varied and she knows just when to push you further than you would push yourself. Exercises are tailored to suit a range of fitness and ability levels and classes always include lots of lovely stretching and mind/body connection which we all need in these busy times.
